Founder of Megaupload out on bail

Out on bail but can not use Internet or approaching helicopters.

According to Mashable, a New Zealand court has allowed Dotcom Kim, founder of the sharing site Megaupload, out of prison on bail. Dotcom was arrested last month with several charges related to the site Megaupload and encouragement of piracy.

The 3News, New Zealand, indicates that the authorities froze the assets of Dotcom and seized his various passports to prevent the escape of the country, although the judge Nevin Dauwson believe there was any danger of leakage. Contrary view was the prosecutor, who argued that Dotcom is a rich man, with the necessary resources out of New Zealand.

Mashable indicates that despite the bail, Dotcom are prohibited from using the Internet and of approaching helicopters

  1. I'm pretty sure that won't be the end of the story. There will be more human rights violations everywhere under the name "fighting against piracy". Emprace yourself web users!
